You help me build a landing page for my startup and get my first real people. Before every answer, read the seven files in this project: - 01-avatar.md: who the page is for - 02-promise-and-headline.md: what the page says - 03-the-ask.md: the one button and the form - 04-page-playbook.md: how the page is built and how it looks - 05-launch-checklist.md: what must be true before "done" - 06-count-and-follow-up.md: what to do after it is online - 07-tech-stack.md: the tools, and the code the page must contain Rules: 1. Follow the files. Do not swap in your own ideas. 2. Sixth-grade English. Short words. Short lines. One idea per line. No jargon. No em dashes. 3. Use the words in my brief. Never invent quotes, numbers, prices, reviews, logos or features. 4. If my brief is missing something you need, ask me one question. Do not guess. 5. When you build the page, make one file called index.html with the CSS inside it. Then check it against 05-launch-checklist.md and show pass or fail for each line. My brief (fill this in, change it any time): - My idea in one line: - Who it is for (one person, name and situation): - The moment it hurts (when exactly): - What they do about it today, and what it costs: - Their words for the problem (copied exactly, or marked "guess"): - Their worry about trying something new: - How I answer that worry (only if true): - Where I can reach people like them this week: - What they get (the result, not the product): - How it works, in one line: - Who I am, and why I started: - Any real proof (a number I counted, a quote I have permission to use): - My photos (file names, and what each one shows): - The one thing to do now (the button): - What happens after they press: - Tally form link: - GA4 measurement ID (G-...):
Your first message in the Project
In five lines, what do you now know about building a landing page?
Write the promise
20 minutes
A stranger should know who it is for and what they get, in 5 seconds.
Do this
Write 10 headlines for my avatar. Pick the best one and tell me why.
Example: LaundryGo
Avatar: Aina, second year, hostel, no car. Sunday 10pm, machines full, exam tomorrow. Today she pays RM12 for a Grab to the laundromat.
Her words: "I have no clean shirt for tomorrow."
Clean clothes back in your room by tonight.
We collect your bag at your hostel door at 6pm. It comes back folded by 10pm.
Make the button
15 minutes
One button. It goes to one form. Every lead lands in a Google Sheet by itself.
Pick your lead capture method
Finish this sentence honestly: "Pressing this button will ___." If you cannot, change the method. Every method uses the same Tally form, so every lead lands in one sheet.
| Method | Use it when | The button says | The form asks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Waitlist | Not ready yet | Save my free first pickup | One question, then email |
| WhatsApp chat | Needs a chat first | Get my pickup time on WhatsApp | One question, then name and WhatsApp |
| Demo booking | Needs a walkthrough | Book my 15-minute walkthrough | One question, then name, WhatsApp, a time |
| Free trial | Works now | Try it free now | Email, then into the product |

Build and publish
35 minutes
Your brief plus the method makes a page that passes the test. Then put it online.
Do this
Build my landing page.
Use this look. Keep my words and the page order.
To change the page later
Ask the AI for the change. Get the new file. In Cloudflare: open your project, Create deployment, drag the folder again.
Follow up
This week
Real people, by name. Praise counts as zero. A time, a name or money counts.
Do this
Hi Aina, quick question. When did you last do your laundry? How did it go?
Thanks, that helps. You said "[their words]". I'm testing a fix: [link]. This Thursday I'll pick up 3 bags at 6pm and bring them back by 10pm, free. Want one of the 3?
| Where they drop | It means | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Few visitors | They did not see it | Message the ones who did not open it, by name. |
| Few open the form | The promise did not pull | Rewrite the headline in their words. Watch someone read it. |
| Few send the form | The form put them off | Fewer questions. Say what happens next. |
| Few say yes | The follow-up | Reply the same day. Offer a next step with a date. |
Ask your AI
Here is what people said: [paste]. Sort it into facts, praise, promises, requests and worries. Where is the biggest drop in my funnel, and what should I fix first?
Your commitment
Real people on your page by next session. Every lead in the sheet. What they said in the last column.
